Bridge Repair Barges Support

Bridge repair requires access, stability, and precision — especially when working over water. Whether you’re inspecting aging infrastructure, replacing components, or performing emergency maintenance, safe and efficient marine access is critical. Our Mobile Marine Barge offers a smarter solution with a self-propelled, rapidly deployable platform engineered for high-performance bridge work.

Our barge enables engineers, contractors, and inspectors to reach and work beneath or alongside bridges without the limitations of traditional marine vessels or disruptive land-based staging. With a wide range of attachments, a powerful propulsion system, and full hydraulic integration, Work Marine is the floating platform built for today’s infrastructure challenges.

Purpose-Built for Bridge Access

Bridge repair presents unique challenges. Limited or no land access, moving water, shallow depths, and overhead obstructions can all delay work and create safety hazards. Traditional workboats often lack the stability, adaptability, or workspace required for complex bridge projects.

Work Marine changes that with a mobile barge that can:

  • Transports over the road with an 18 wheeler and low-boy trailer.
  • Deploys from any suitable boat ramp — no crane required!
  • Unfolds hydraulically to over 24 feet wide for superior stability
  • Maneuvers into place using a 375 HP Cummins diesel propulsion system
  • Supports high-capacity lifting and modular attachment systems

Whether you’re replacing bearings, patching deck sections, inspecting piers, or removing debris, our barge gives your team a reliable and adaptable base of operations.

Our Quick Connect Multi-Platform Implement System allows rapid tool changes to support a wide range of bridge work, including:

  • Routine and structural inspections
  • Under-deck access using man baskets or suspended platforms
  • Debris and obstruction removal near piers or abutments
  • Hydraulic lifting of materials, tools, or components
  • Pile support or structural stabilization
  • Emergency access during flooding or structural damage

With our National Crane 437B onboard, featuring a 37-foot telescoping boom and a 10-ton max lift capacity, crews can lift and position beams, barriers, and equipment with confidence. The crane’s belly box remote allows the operator to walk the platform and control lifts from the best vantage point.

Not every bridge is in an open bay or wide river. Many are located over narrow canals, shallow waterways, or restricted-access zones. The Work Marine’s Barges compact transport size and deployable design make it uniquely suited for these types of environments:

  • Fits under low-clearance bridges
  • Accesses shallow or obstructed waterways
  • Reduces or eliminates need for lane closures
  • Operates with minimal crew and setup time

By working from the water with a stable, self-contained platform, your crew avoids costly road closures or the need for special land-based equipment — all while increasing safety and operational efficiency.

Engineered to Support Infrastructure Integrity

Every barge is built in our 180,000 sq ft fabrication facility, led by a team of licensed engineers and certified marine fabricators. Our leadership holds:

  • ISO 9001 Certification
  • AISC, ASME, AWS, and National Board credentials
  • Marine General Contractor Licenses

We understand the complexities of bridge work and design every system to withstand the demands of infrastructure repair — from daily inspections to multi-phase restoration projects.
